Breast Center treatment in Germany

The doctors working at the Breast Center in the Waldkrankenhaus Protestant Hospital in Spandau specialize above all in the treatment of breast cancer. Effective diagnostics and therapy is made possible by the close collaboration between radiologists, gynecologists/surgeons, pathologists, radiation therapists and oncologists.

The specialists hold regular tumor conferences to exchange information and ideas. The meetings are used to discuss every aspect of a patient’s disease and plan individual therapy. All our work complies with quality assurance guidelines and international standards such as those of the European Society of Breast Cancer Specialists (EUSOMA), the German Cancer Society (DKG) and the German Society for Senology.

We provide safe diagnostics using minimally invasive techniques. We also view the aesthetic restoration of the female breast as an important aspect of the high-quality treatment we offer.  

Our work should, of course, be transparent and verifiable. For this reason, we undergo regular quality assurance inspections.
