Excellent care during birth at MLK

Uwe Ulrich is Chief physician of the Clinic for gynecology and obstetrics at Martin Luther Hospital and a specialist in gynecologic cancer surgery, especially for ovarian and uterine cancer.

And because babies are born whenever they want there are always assistance and senior physicians ready to help at Martin Luther Hospital.

But if there were difficulties, such as heavy bleeding, or a complicated birth must be completed by surgery, then Uwe Ulrich as chief physician to the hospital will come immediately no matter what time it is. "I stand ready in the background," he says. On average after birth young mothers stay with their children up to three days in the hospital, if they had a caesarean section it is a little longer. During this time the relatives come to congratulate and bring gifts.
