Monitoring confirmed Martin Luther Hospital's high level of competence as a pain-free hospital

In October 2010 TÜV Rheinland awarded Martin Luther Hospital the certificate "pain-free hospital" for its professional management of pain during the entire treatment period.

Now the implementation was checked for the first time during a monitoring audit. The result convinced everyone. The auditor was impressed by the implementation, the commitment of the employees involved and the positive results in general. Jörg Gottschalk, CEO of Martin Luther Hospital says: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank all staff involved in these processes from my heart. We managed to implement most of the conditions as pain free clinic successfully in the first few months." Especially with the new standards in the emergency room and obstetrics, MLK with its active management of pain significantly distincts itself from other hospitals in Berlin. This also shows the encouraging and positive feedback from patients. Another very positive assessment in MLK's pain management is the open communication as well as the additional qualification of "Pain Nurses" and the extraordinary commitment of all employees.
