Since 2013, the treatment of the aorta (in addition to the treatment of all other vessels) is one of the main focuses of the Vascular Centre Berlin-Brandenburg at Hubertus Hospital. The Aorta Centre Berlin was set up last year and already plays a major role in interventions on the aorta within the hospital network of Paul Gerhardt Diakonie of which PGD International is a part of as well as in the entire eastern part of Germany, owing to their technical and instrumental skills.

Minimally invasive, gentle and safe. These are the stipulations that govern the treatment concept of the department of vascular surgery at Waldkrankenhaus Spandau. Chronic thromboembolic disease (CTEPH) is one of many causes of pulmonary hypertension. For this there is a new drug and interventional therapies. Diagnosis is made by detection of segmental defects of the lung perfusion. Previous standard method is the perfusion ventilation scintigraphy, which is performed in addition to a pulmonary CT angiography. The Dual Energy CT (DECT), which is used at the Lung Clinic Berlin for two years to diagnose CTEPH combines the CT angiography and lung perfusion in one examination.

In February 2016 the Arthroplasty Centre at Hubertus Hospital Berlin was certified by ClarCert a subsidiary of the certification body OnkoZert. In combination with the Endoprosthesis Register Germany (EPRD) this certification means that patient safety can be measured objectively. At the same time, this step is an investment in the trust of patients.
