PGD International Presented Itself at World Travel Show ITB in Berlin

For five days once again this year the Berlin exhibition halls were the center of the international tourism world. PGD International took the opportunity to present itself at ITB Berlin the world's leading travel trade show and is very pleased about all the talks and feedbacks on its offers in the area of medical treatment.

"The five days were exhausting, but really nice," says Soumeya Meraghni, Director of the Arab Department of PGD International. During those long days she and her Russian colleague Ludmilla Khaertdinova had made a lot of new experiences and contacts. Both agree in their assessment of the fair: "Many people came to us and were very interested in the medical services the hospitals of PGD International offer. They wanted to learn all about the details our exceptional service!" Lots and lots of catalogs, business cards, pens and gummi bears were distributed to interested trade visitors. "I'm sure we could represent the philosophy of our company well. Now I'm looking forward to the lasting, positive contacts that will arise from those encounters," Soumeya Meraghni says.

ITB Berlin 2013 was the world's largest gathering of international tourism politicians and business leaders so far. German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, representatives of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) and the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) and more than 100 tourism ministers and secretaries of state gathered in Berlin to form the conditions which will make possible the future growth of the travel industry.

From March 6th to 10th 2013, 10,086 exhibitors from 188 countries presented themselves on the fully booked exhibition grounds. In those five days around 110.000 trade visitors came to Berlin, more than 43 percent of them from abroad. The percentage of buyers from the USA and the Middle East has increased slightly this year. Most exhibitors reported a continued high quality of the sales calls and more business deals.

The next ITB Berlin will take place from Wednesday, 5 to Sunday, 9 March 2014.
